Plant pesticides belong to a branch of Biopesticide. It refers to a plant-based preparation that utilizes the stable components contained in plants and uses them in a certain way to prevent or reduce the harm of harmful organisms such as diseases, insects, weeds, etc. to the recipient plant. All kinds of plant pesticides are not a single compound, but all or part of the organic substances of plant organisms. The composition is complex and changeable, but they are generally contained in alkaloids, glycosides, toxic proteins, volatile essence oils, tannins, resins, organic acids, esters, ketones, terpenes and other substances. Broadly speaking, plants rich in these highly physiologically active substances may be processed into pesticide formulations, with abundant quantities and substance categories.
